Victoria is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She obtained both her Master’s and Bachelor Degree in Social Work at the University of Kentucky. She has provided mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, groups, couples and families. Victoria has worked in a variety of settings to include outpatient, inpatient, in home, community and primary care clinics. She has provided counseling for bipolar, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, post traumatic disorder, panic disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, financial, vocational, intimate relationship issues and conflict resolution and/or anger management problems. Over the past four years, she has specialized in chemical dependency with dual diagnosis for adults seeking treatment in a medication assisted treatment clinic. Victoria provides biopsychosocial assessments, determination of appropriate diagnostic criteria, individualized treatment planning, referral for medication management and coordination of care with medical treatment providers. She utilizes multiple counseling techniques such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Focused CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Reality Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.
