Nathan Mayo received his bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Kentucky and his master’s degree in counseling and human development at Lindsey Wilson College. He is currently finalizing his dissertation for his doctorate in counseling, education and supervision through the University of the Cumberland’s. He has more than 17 years of mental health care experience through multiple venues such as in-inpatient, outpatient, in-home, residential and school based settings. He also served as a Drug and Alcohol Program Advisor (DAPA) and Suicide Prevention Officer through his command in the U.S. Navy Reserves, where he served for eight years. He specializes in depression, anxiety, trauma, adjusting to life stages, anger management, couples counseling and substance use disorders.
