Lauren is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She obtained her Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Kentucky. Lauren has provided services to children, adolescents and their families as an in home therapist in the past. She has provided a diverse range of therapeutic counseling services, which includes determining appropriate diagnostic criteria for clients, crisis stabilization and treatment development. Lauren has also worked on a NIDA (National Insitute on Drug Abuse) funded research grant as a data coordinator/prevention specialist providing HIV/AIDS counseling and testing to study participants and implementing data collection. Lauren’s primary therapeutic approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy and person centered therapy.
